What absolutely bullshit. Freedom of speech can't be abandoned just because it makes some people uncomfortable. Protests are supposed to make people uncomfortable in any case.

Exactly. However, I wouldn't be too hasty in shooting the messenger. It is his job to pass on concerns...however they are worded. The intention of Le Grand is quite obvious, imo.
The protests are not spurring the violence. The reason for the protests just might be.
