Took this photo as we walked to the tram stop after seeing the MTC's new musical theatre version of 'My Brilliant Career' last night.

What a great stage show. The actors are also the musicians, so there's a lot of speaking, singing and playing music - all at the same time. Loads of energy and carries the spirit of Miles Franklins' novel while also being very up to date re musical styles and dialogue etc.

A pox on whoever approved filling the steep, dangerous escalators at parliament station with neon coloured advertising. I’m not normally that vertigo prone but I was really struggling to stay balanced making it up them with all that extra stimulation. Yet another example of how accessibility is not taken seriously by Melbourne public transport operators #melbourne
