The northern end of the ocean baths. The wide concrete concourse cuts through on a diagonal, dividing beach and rocks from the shallow and main pools. The small rounded white pump-house is on the back corner. A line of white pounding waves builds up behind. Still mostly blue sky and sunshine.

Ooh! An interruption to our scheduled broadcast! A hang glider just flew past the cafe where i am post swim and landed on the beach. Wish i'd been fast enough to snap a pic on the way past: Not something that happens every day though i often see them hovering over us. #ocean #beach #MerewetherBeach #NewcastleNSW #hangglider
