Looking across the shallower pool at Merewether Ocean Baths and southerly towards the overgrown rocky bluff and curve of coastline beyond. It's a cool day (23C max) after heatwave conditions yesterday (38C max). Grey-tinged white clouds fill the sky. The shallow pool looks grey and subdued.

The red and yellow lifesaving flag is flying out in the strong southerly wind. It's on the concrete concourse on the northern side of the Merewether Ocean Baths. The ocean and main pools are visible on either side of the wide path. Light grey sky and darker grey water. The ocean has spilled across the path. A swimmer is starting down the entry ramp to the main pool.
