@bookstodon folks, what’s a book you read once and then revisited many years later? did it hold up? or age like milk?

@bookstodon One of my all-time favourites, I re-read it about 10 years ago and agree it holds up pretty well. The Galactic Milieu Series did even better imo.

Sadly the same was not true, for me, with Heinlein's Stranger in a Strange Land. A book I wish I'd left fresh in my memory, rather than the tarnished version I'm left with now.
