Any other #Autistic people listen to #TheTelepathyTapes? I'm on episode 3 and I don't know if I am incredibly gullible or what but my mind is a bit blown.

When I was a kid I had a lot of weird energy and telepathy experiences so this is probably why I find myself believing it easily.

I also did a lot of research into non-speaking autism for a book on communication and this already broke down my outdated belief system on non-speaking minds.

@actuallyautistic
@actuallyautistic Look up Mary Rodwell. I'm high functioning autistic and an Experiencer.

I was invited to meet her for a private presentation.
@actuallyautistic I'm not saying you are involved with "them." She has resources galore.
I am not dissing them. Far from it. I am, as always, concerned with methodology, and effect. What happens if there are non-verbal autists who don't 'understand' the messages thrown at them, because they have been traumatised? There are many reasons that autists have not to speak. Am I overthinking this? @niamhgarvey @actuallyautistic
@actuallyautistic That's my 1 criticism of the tapes... They say ALL non speaking autistics are telepathic. I don't see how they can state that unless they literally tested every non speaking autistic in the world. Other than that I found the tapes very respectful and not ever looking for them to have a purpose in the 'means of production' capitalist view of purpose to society.
I will reserve judgement. Those who first embraced Asperger's methods did so without malice. @Thumptastic3 @actuallyautistic
@actuallyautistic I've found that it doesn't have to be telepathy. It could be many other types of innate signals that we don't normally use anymore. Subtle body language, pheremones, bioelectrical signatures, who knows? They are teaching us.
