So it's official. The last half dozen or so DVDs/Blurays I've picked up or were gifted for Christmas were ripped using #AV1 video, audio track 1 in stereo #OPUS, track 2 just being whatever highest quality surround track is on the disk passed straight thru, all in an MKV container.

AV1 is my new standard for content on my personal family media server.

I'm also considering converting all future x265 videos from my phone to AV1 in WebM because it plays nicer with web browsers.
