Day 14.

I enjoyed this one, nice and simple. I'm having issues with my hands which is making stitching challenging though.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
A simple round white bauble with three sections of straight lines inside the circle as decoration.

Day 13.

This was a relief to have a nice simple bauble after the stress of the other one!

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
A little round red bauble. Cross stitched onto blue fabric.

Day 12.

I hate this bauble with a passion, I kept messing up with the counting so now the mistakes are staying. Onto stitching day 13.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
A long narrow white bauble has been added to the cross stitch.

Day 11 is done, on time for a change, woohoo!

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
Up near the top of the pattern is a small gold bauble, again its simple lines and little crosses inside the round bauble.

Day 10 has been finished. I have no idea what other words will appear on this pattern. Now its breakfast time before part 11, I am definitely stitching that this morning, before I settle down to play games all day.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
The word bright has been stitched above the fairy lights at the bottom of the pattern. The word is stitched in pale shades of red, blue, yellow and green.

Day 9 done on the morning of day 10, oops. I'm having to stitch when my body allows, yesterday was a problem hand day. I'm now at the stage where photos have to be close up or lots of cropping so I can hide the final image from you.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
Serious close up of a white bauble, lots of lines at different angles and a few crosses done diagonally to make up a round detailed bauble.

Day 8, a nice simple bauble. There are a few missing individual stitches, but I think I am going to put beads there instead - as soon as I decide which ones I want to use.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
A simple round red bauble with a tin coloured top. A small red cross is slightly lower and to the right of the red bauble.

Day 7 done (yeah yeah, I'm late again, but in my defence I was on an adventure yesterday).
I love this bauble, its so simple, but stunning all the same.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
The cross stitch continues. This time its a little gold bauble. A shade called Old Gold makes up the external circle and lines of the decoration, the "inside" of the bauble is called Hops Yellow and is two diagonal lines of cross stitch with a backstitched grid between the lines.

Another day ticked off, day 5 of the SAL. This is a great way to get a little bit of stitchy time every day.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
The same cross stitch, the bauble this time is a gold round bauble near the top of the pattern, the bauble is done in gold backstitch with little gold and yellow hearts in the middle.

Hurrah, managed day 4 on the right day. Really glad this was a simple one since I'm sore and cold again.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
A blue round bauble as joined the previous ones.

Oh this bauble was a challenge since I decided to work from the screen instead of printing it out, so the frog paid a visit, swearing was done, but it is complete.

Advent SAL day two.

#AdventSAL #CrossStitch
Cross stitch. 2 shades of yellow make up a Christmas bauble, partly cross stitch, partly backstitch.

Advent SAL day one complete.

B5200 is the one thread I really hate working with.

Pattern - Baubles and Fairy Lights by Climbing Goat Designs.

I will put this as a pinned post and add to it every day, along with the AdventSAL hashtag.

Ah, a start on the large central flower of this pattern.
I love the way the variegated threads change the colour of the flower as it goes along. The red parts of the large flower are 2 different threads but it looks like 5 or 6 different colours.
Not a bad couple of hours stitching this morning, now its breakfast time before I get on with a couple of phone calls.

#CrossStitch
Cross stitched flowers, green vine with yellow flowers along the top, a flower of purples and one of reds underneath the vine. Below that is a square shaped flower in shades of red with golden bits around the outside and a green stem.

A day of slow stitching, my left hand isn't enjoying being used, stitching one handed takes time, hurrah for the desk clamp to hold the hoop.
The next flower I plan to do is rather large and means moving the fabric in the hoop. That will be for later, or maybe tomorrow. I really need to get some food. It's been a peaceful day so far.
Pattern - Flowers of Quaker by Karen Kluba/Rosewood Manor.
Fabric - 32ct taupe evenweave.
Threads - Valdani threads.

#CrossStitch
Cross stitch on taupe coloured fabric. Along the top is a small green vine with orange coloured flowers, below that are two separate flowers - one in shades of purple and the other mostly red and pinks.

I am sure the majority of crafters can relate to this one, I know I can.

Hey! I'm almost half done!!!
