When it comes to #Grenfell and the buildings similarly cladded setting a date is just performative.

‘#Labour should do what it proposed in 2021 and create a government-funded building works agency to decide what works are necessary, then commission and pay for them.’

But even then who is qualified and able to carry out the work at pace? Sadly very few.

Well, we saw what speed in favour of correct/robust procedures did around the Covid procurement process (fraud enabled & colluded with), and now while the Tories were still in power we find that the same sort of thing happened with the cladding funds.... a £500,000 fraud seems to have been perpetrated on the public funds.

There is a reason that processes need to be followed & whatever the Tories might think its not all jobs for bureaucrats!
