In Georgia, the independent Mtavari T.V. Channel is under threat of being closed down by it's own co founder Zaza Okuashvili. It's suspected he is being pressured (some kind of financial blackmail, not yet known) by Georgian Dream party chairman Bidzina Ivanishvili.

The journalists at the channel are fighting back and promising to stay on air as long as they can.

Here are some photographs from an award ceremony in Tbilisi, Georgia today. President Salome Zourabichvilli is giving out civic awards to journalists covering the recent protests in Georgia.

You'll notice that the journalists are wearing bandages and neck braces. They have all sustained injuries while covering the protests. They were all attacked by unidentified 'special forces' working for Georgia's illegitimate government.

In Georgia, the security services are forecasting that 'local actors directed by special services of foreign powers'' are going to escalate the protests by orchestrating the deaths of 2-3 protestors and blaming the deaths on the government.

They have zero evidence that 'special services of foreign powers' are involved in the violence at protests so far in Georgia.

At least, not on the protestor's side...

As medical professionals petition the Georgian ruling party to stop using tear gas and other unknown chemicals against peaceful protestors, the ruling party are going the other way entirely.

The illegitimate government in Georgia just announced they are going to legislate against the use of gas masks at peaceful protests.

In Georgia right now there seems to be a major escalation of violence.

Protestors, journalists and opposition politicians are being attacked, on the streets, in their offices and in their homes.

These are not police or 'special forces', but unidentified thugs working for the regime. They are not arresting anybody, just beating them near half to death.

There's no more pretending. It's pure violent brutality.

This video shows the Georgian PM laughingly stating they had arrested all the opposition leaders causing violent protests and that due to this action the violent protests were over.

It's cut with scenes of horrific violence by 'special forces' at protests later that same day.

There is some confusion in Georgia of the exact details of this incident, but it is heartbreaking.

What is confirmed is that a woman is dead and her mother is critically injured after a car accident. It is thought they were on the way to protests in Tbilisi, Georgia.
