Aroace Cake for the kid update: sides are done! I took a little break because I hated the bamboo needles so much. Finally got new metal needles so was able to complete side 2. I love how the white stripe looks like the middle icing.
I’ll start on the cake bottom tomorrow (dark blue) and then I still have to figure out what to do about the icing around the outside. I was thinking of doing the non-binary flag for them, but it may be too many stripes. I might just stick with white.
