Sulala Animal Rescue was forced to evacuate all cats from their shelter last night. Israeli tanks are closing in and sealing the area gradually, and there's all types of shells being fired. They are in Nuseirat, central Gaza.

The cats are now going to be crammed in one area with dogs and donkeys. Far from ideal. 💔🐾

Ava slept in a bit this morning so I was awake enough to capture her wake-up routine.
I must warn you that she does a LOT of direct eye contact first thing in the morning as she assesses whether it’s worth her time to come down from her perch to say hello 😅
