Hallo, ich bin #neuhier bei Pixelfed. Ich fotografiere gerne #Landschaft, #Tiere und was mir sonst noch so vor die Linse kommt. Leider komme ich dazu viel weniger als ich gerne möchte und starte hier einen neuen Versuch, der #Fotografie wieder mehr Raum in meinem Leben zu geben. Bislang habe ich mit einer #Nikon DSLR fotografiert und möchte nun auf eine #Systemkamera umsteigen - in der Hoffnung, hier die gleiche Bildqualität bei geringerer Größe und Gewicht zu bekommen und mich so selbst dazu zu bringen, die Kamera häufiger einzupacken. Aktuell bin ich überfordert von der Auswahl - mir wurden schon #Olympus / #OMsystem, #Fujufilm, #Panasonic, sowie #Sony Kameras vorgeschlagen und natürlich liegt die #Nikonzfc als langjährige Nikon-Nutzerin auch auf der Hand - falls jemand einen heißen Tipp oder Erfahrungen bzgl. konkreten Modellen hat, würde ich mich freuen. Für den Urlaub hatte ich mir eine #Sonya6700 ausgeliehen und u.a. im Zoo getestet. Allerdings ist sie nicht unbedingt leichter oder kompakter als meine Nikon gerade, daher bin ich nicht ganz überzeugt.

Just to the left and up the bird is in flight with its wings at about 45 degree angles. Have you ever taken a photo and really loved it but everyone else doesn't think it's anything special? This is that photo for me. Taken just this post fall in the Adirondacks on a ten mile hike. I look at this tree's roots and think of the Radiohead song treefingers. It's probably why I like this pic. Anyways, thanks for viewing!

After Glacier, my next stop was Grand Teton National Park. I arrived at the Colter Bay campground late in the afternoon, set up, and relaxed after the long drive.

The next morning I got up just before dawn and walked down to Jackson Lake, taking in the sights. And wow, were there ever some sights!
