Standing on the shore of a large lake. There are small leafy shrubs to our right and left, several partially submerged boulders just offshore. In a sky streaked with long hazy silver clouds, the sun is setting above the wooded far shore, looking like a large blob of golden fire and tinting the streaky clouds near and along the horizon gold and orange. All this is mirrored on the lightly rippled lake surface.

Ohnehin schon schöne und beruhigende Plätze werden im richtigen Licht noch viel viel schöner. So auch hier. Die Sonneneinstrahlung erschafft eine wunderbare Stimmung, die zum Verweilen und Entspannen einlädt. Es ist eines meiner Lieblingsplätzchen und glücklicherweise war zu diesem Zeitpunkt niemand in der Nähe.

Ufer eines Sees mit zwei Baumstämmen im Vordergrund. Der rechte ragt etwas ins Wasser, der hintere eher Richtung Rand. Dahinter finden sich noch weitere. Es gibt viel kurzes Schilf, das im Wasser steht und von der Sonne von links hinten beleuchtet wird.

The deceptively calm stillness of a summer evening beside a lake. Looking out through a thicket of green leafy shoots growing beside the lake. Above the wooded far shore some tall thunderstorm clouds are being smudged in long hazy streaks across a pale blue sky by much stronger breezes aloft. The setting sun is tinting the clouds and haze in shades of pale gold and pink. Sky and far shore are mirrored in the very slightly rippled waters below.
