Reading (on Threads) about why people like #bluesky over #mastodon, and most seems to boil down to usability / wrestling with servers.

Have to agree. And it's why I still think we need a good #fediverse client as an entry point.

Whereby ‘good’ is also a subjective way of looking at things and really doesn't lead to the goal
working at a company that puts UX front and center, I totally agree that user experience is a major obstacle for Fediverse adoption
Please define UX
And, please define Fediverse?

These are generalisations that I can't do anything with.
Apart from the fact that a network like the Fediverse has never existed before (apart from the Internet itself), it is not trying to be a clone of anything.
The choice of access software alone changes the UX massively and not everyone is the same and feels differently.

And by software, I don't mean apps for Mastodon
