Yeah, it was a bucket list item for me. My friends and I have been going to Mardi Gras since 1979 (not every year). We gradually built up relationships until we were able to become members of one of the 'Krewes'. If you are a member, you must ride and 'throw until it hurts'. There is a large amount of money involved also, but it is a charity.
