An utterly gorgeous sunset tonight!

(The pictures are landscape; for reasons I don't understand, they're displaying as if they were portrait. I hate it when people say this ... but click them open to get the full landscape view. Including Edinburgh castle!)

A landscape-oriented colour photograph of the sky over Edinburgh tonight. At the bottom of the picture is the silhouette of the skyline from my flat looking south-west, with a church steeple at the far right and the tenement opposite most of the bottom left. Above that, the sky is coloured, ranging from orange near the bottom (to the right of the tenement), through deep red and mauve clouds; other cloudss are dark grey. Where there are no clouds the sky is various shades of blue, from palid blue low down to dark intense blue near the top.
