I still do not like #lowerdecks. #discovery does nothing for me. I am also looking fearfully forward to #starfleetacademy, a series that arrives a decade too late. I have watched #tng too many times.

What's left? Star Trek: Voyager!

I watched the show the last time on TV, when it was aired back in the day. In German. Thanks to streaming services I now can enjoy the show in original English and in slightly better quality. Besides that: it's simply STAR TREK! A good thing 😊

OH liked TNG. I liked DS9 more, and Voyager was okay. We are both 70+. Is it a generational thing? I don't know. I haven't watched the newer series, mostly because they were on Pay TV. @andreas_heitmann

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds really is something special. Especially after the very disappointing Discovery show. It feels way more like TOS with new stories for each and every episode. There are bigger story arcs but it is a one problem per episode storytelling. And of course it's a kinda reboot. Kirk is being established and I guess after SNW there will be a STAR TREK show with Kirk, Bones and Spock for sure ...

With later seasons one can witness that the producers really tried to fit the expectations of us customers. There were some quite strange stories and character decisions involved. It is some kind of mixed bag. The show has its ups and downs.

But compared to today's STAR TREK it is gold when it comes to storytelling and character development.

This shows how bad today's STAR TREK really is. And I am not even mentioning #section31 ...
