@AndyGER When I entered the Fediverse I quickly learned that Mastodon was very similiar to Twitter and a format I didn't like. That's why I now run my own #Friendica instance for taking part in the Fediverse. #Friendica feels like the good old #Facebook, with added features for better control of your timeline similiar to what Google Plus offered, it is just not really popular. Maybe because the "Facebook generation" (age 40 plus, having a job and kids and other things to worry about) has not yet discovered the need to move to something else. For now, I contiue developming my instance, maybe I will open it up to public participation later.
