The Democratic party walked away from the only person to beat Trump in an epic cluster fuck of elite party members.

Americans were not ready to elect a black woman.
It's really that simple.

"When #Trump was running again for re-election, I really thought I had the best chance of beating him. But I also wasn't looking to be president when I was 85 years old, 86 years old," #Biden said. "But I don't know. Who the hell knows?"

There’s some debate about this…obviously. Some say Biden should’ve been honest and let the party have its caucus and select a candidate that way. Harris could’ve then proved her worth.
But honestly, I don’t know.
I’d say we need to stop fanning the orange turds flames and regroup and come out strong in the midterms.
Stop the madness, right?

Yes indeed, some would like to rewrite history and no amount of lamenting will change the fact that Biden beat Trump in 2020.

The odds of winning in 2024 were in President Biden 's favor. All the campaign money could only go to Kamala Harris. The first debate was a tragic failure but also a test of loyalty.

Democratic party failed the test IMHO

That is why Trump won.

Seems like misogyny and racism is still alive and well in the Democratic Party
I'm not sure those qualities are isolated to any political party or beliefs.

And that is the problem.

I'm simply shining the light.
Avoiding that truth is not a solution.

They aren't, it just seems like those are the reasons for #FeloniousTrump being elected!
Biden understood the electorate. If you examine Biden's political career, he navigated the waters of racism for his entire life in elected office.

It's why he was the most elected individual in modern history.

Se are talking about why the Dems lost the last election, Joe Biden wasn't a choice on the ballot.
Indeed. I agree on all points.

The first debate was a critical mistake and fatal to the campaign.

The death blow was the elites in the party abandoning their only real chance to win based on Biden's record.

It's important the Democratic party admit this is the second time they have abandoned their president.

The first time was in 1979 as we honor #jimmycarter today.

The future is now forfeit and the Democratic party is in the wilderness for the failure of loyalty.

I can acknowledge the instincts you have for sensing the inevitable however, I'm not sure mad men should be deciding the future of humanity.

That may be the unfortunate reality of this timeline however and an obvious repeat of the mistakes made leading up to WW2.
