Everyone needs to stop consuming American media, and American social media. Go look for foreign newspapers that have an English-language version on the web. Nothing in America is to be trusted.

Almost everything my parents called out the Soviet Union for now seems to be true of the United States:

High intensive surveillance of the general public.

Arbitrary arrests of dissidents

Muzzled/captive media controlled by the Party

Gulags opening soon

and more!

Maybe Trump being Putin's puppet has something to do with all this? Or maybe he learned it from apartheid South African or that book of Hitler's speeches on his nightstand?
