This morning I opened the curtains and the window just as a huge gang of honkers flew overhead. Made me realise how daft it is to get swept up in the misery.

Trudat. I think the fact that it wasn't even that close is what pushed me over the edge. Weirdly, after a few weeks off the coffee, I decided to indulge this morning and totes didn't enjoy it.
I'll be back to my new normal of swerving the total news absorbtion, drinking tea rather than wine, and generally taking refuge in music, poetry and the outdoors tomorrow. It just felt necessary today.
