#Today is almost 10 hours old. Today will last about 9 hours longer... It will be a long day!

I've done loads, at least, I'd like to think so... And I'll do some more as the day progresses...

Gym, SniffBook walkies, blog writing, building a Billy, exchanging a Billy, short SniffBook walkies, food, another short walk with Arwen, hanging the two "dog butt" hooks, carrying two Billy's up the stairs, getting the old paper and recycling bits to the shed......

And now... Couch time! I'm rather tired! 😂

If all goes well, I'll have a wee bit of gaming to end the expedition of NMS. Then a short walk with Arwen, before I'll head to Cuijk for PT. A quick stop at Lidl on the way back home then. A walk with Arwen and the neighbor. And then... I'll take the neighbor and her dog to the vet.

It's a late appointment (for me), as I'm usually in bed by the time the appointment starts... But... It's a good cause, as I do love the neighbor's dog and I wish him the best care. So, it's my pleasure to help with that. 😊

But now...... Some relaxing! Such a long day. Loads of positives. But they all need some spoons...

Friday meandered aimlesly in this morning, like it was their first day of retirement.

I’m up & breakfasted & I’ve made an appointment with a Dr Simmons (never met them) because my Dr of choice has no prebookable slots for the foreseeable!
Also because it’s a phone slot then it could be at anytime this morning! 🙄

Hey ho will just have to get comfy with my book or maybe play a game I can pause quickly.

Before all that though I best go hang out the laundry.

While getting on the highway to go home after work, a man three cars in front of me got out of his car, popped his trunk, and handed the homeless man there on the corner shivering a coat. I have to say that after everything that's going on in the world, I really needed something like that. It gives me that brief spark of hope that we'll make it through this because there are still good people in this world.

Good morning!

Today on my early-morning walk, I walked past a large stand of some sort of grasses or reeds -- it's an invasive species and grows taller than I am. A loud noise was coming from it, sounding to me like there was a flock of chickens in there squabbling. I kept thinking some sort of fowl would pop out onto the path.

Instead, suddenly several hundred small birds rose into the air, still making that noise, flying in such close formation that they formed a black cloud against the sky. I watched them until they disappeared. I haven't seen that around here before.

I've a feeling the most obvious result will come to pass - A minor Harris win which will proceed months of legal battles, social upheaval, and no respite from the constant media apocalypse we were all hoping to escape from.
