I'm reading that #Trump gave a speech full of idiocy and lies, and that the response from #Democrats was pretty ineffectual. So, basically, no surprises?
They were holding up paddles with messages on them. Truly, I do not know USA protocol re addresses to the nation, but we know that Democrats haven't been very vocal outside of Congress, either.☹😣
Well, the usual protocol is to be respectful. But then, the usual protocol for presidents is not to shred the constitution and ignore laws, so we're in a unique place.
