hello 👋. Yes, I’ve often seen him in the field but he popped over the fence today.

Clean up goes slowly as I’ve not really felt up to much but I did assemble a new garden tool store today (with much swearing and some minor bruising). I then walked up to the post box via a woodland path, which passed through a smallholding where I was gifted half a dozen each of duck and hen eggs by a lovely old boy! I think I might take him some cake next time.

well that’s all pretty busy!

I know, he was such a lovely chap, with his two very friendly springer spaniels (I smell of wet dog now). I will make a lemon drizzle cake for him tomorrow.

I love The Great. It will take me a while to get through but I’ll be sure to shout when I run out, thank you lovely 😘

I’ve used duck eggs once after a friend gave me some but that was years ago. Not sure whether to use these or the hens eggs in lemon drizzle. Definitely having scrambled eggs for lunch.
