A web search takes me to Microsoft pages that won't let me browse backwards.
Seriously, Microsoft...I'm actually trying to do everything I can to talk myself into continuing to use you, but its just not working...

And WTF is it with a webpage not letting you navigate away from it? What, does it think you will stay on it forever, eschewing all other webpages because you have found your one and only html hit?

It happens to all of us. I'm off to Fedora next year, Windoze will be relegated to an offline partition.

Its not without its flaws, but its worth doing. Depends on your use. I'd still like to be able to run old offline Adobe products which Linux can't manage.
I'm looking at Ultramarine Linux, Kubuntu or Fedora Spins. I already use either Mint or Ubuntu on the laptop but find Mint especially a bit unreliable.

That's a good plan. Some of the Linux distros are quite Mac OS pretty too. I tend to use an old lappy to experiment and see which I ones like.
Now if only I could afford a phone that could run Graphene OS so I could degoogle my phone too...

I wish. I use a smartphone all day to stay in touch. I do use the Tato persona though, my main phone isn't online unless I need it. Yes, I have multiple online personae, who doesn't these days?
