So here's the deal.

If the ground starts shaking, the second you realize it's an #earthquake, say "Earthquake!"

Sounds dumb but there's a few moments or more, depending, of confusion, denial, realization.. time wasted. But hearing the word, cuts that time so you can act.

If you're the one who said it, you probably know what to do, so do it AND say it. "Get down, cover your head, under the table, hang on", etc.

Authoritative voice = less panic, even for yourself
