Trump was never a good manager or businessman. He doesn't know what he is doing and he is listening to people who aren't good managers, business people or even successful at anything but being ideologues and suckups to nut job, obscenely wealthy people who are also stuck in insane ideologies and desperately want their serfs back.

Trump is, objectively, a terrible businessman and manager. Just look at his cabinet turnover in his first administration. He requires yes men to agree with his stupid ideas, and fixers to get him out of trouble when his ideas crash and burn. But, but how is he then so rich? His entire career after his casino collapse has been funded by mystery foreign underwriters who guaranteed loans no above-board banks would. If the playing field was level, he'd be Donald Nobody, but some entity has found him useful as a legitimate businessman to launder money and engage in other questionable acts. And Trump thinks he's a genius.
Porcine felon Trump and addled South Effrican Musk's firing and sidelining of government workers has already had many of its intended effects. They were able to raid the Treasury and create salaries for DOGE "employees," so that they can get paid to disrupt the day-to-day operations of critical government agencies.
It's a win-win for Musk and Trump and chaos for the rest of us.
