Have you seen 2073? Tbh I thought it was a bit weak - not much more than a collection of clips of "all the worst things that have happened for the last decade" with no real examination or through line, and a silly wraparound "voice from the future" story with Sam Morton. It does feature these robot dogs, as used by the LAPD. I think at the beginning you're supposed to think all the stuff is sci-fi when it's obvs the news. I was disappointed.
