I got turned down for the NDIS.
"However, your evidence does not indicate that you usually need NDIS
supports to effectively move around, communicate, socialise, learn, look after yourself or organise your life."

Which doesn't even make sense, how can I "usually need NDIS supports" when I only just applied?

I was told by the Local Area Coordinator that level 2 diagnosis was sufficient.
Of course I am very aware of the cost cutting that is taking place at the NDIS, and I presume this is a symptom of it.
Bureaucraps just love saying no.
Support as in full support? Have they give up on measured support?
I've been refused anything. Some bloke is calling tomorrow. I can reapply/appeal.
OMG I did further reading and it says this in their guidelines:

"What happens if we don’t decide on time?
If we don’t meet our decision-making timeframes, we have to treat this as if we decided
you’re not eligible.(59)
If this happens, we’ll automatically review this decision that you’re not eligible.60 We’ll send
you a letter to explain this. You don’t need to do anything.
We’ll then make sure your application is reviewed by a staff member who wasn’t involved in
the
original application. We’ll contact you to let you know the outcome."

Reference 59 is the #NDIS legislation 21 (3)

So in fact it seems I got turned down because they couldn't process my application in time. How ridiculous. 😤🤯
