On the last day of 2024, the deputy general of the House of Congress formally accepted the delivery of a civil summons for two congressional members of Northern CA.

More than 600 constituents of Jared Huffman and Mike Thompson have signed on as plaintiffs in a class action suit, accusing them of aiding Israel's genocide "in violation of international and federal law".

Like many Democrats, Huffman and Thompson pride themselves in standing up against the contempt for facts that Donald #Trump and cohorts flaunt. Yet refusal to acknowledge the facts of civilian decimation in Gaza is an extreme form of denial.

Whatever the outcome, this lawsuit conveys the widespread anger and anguish about the ongoing carnage, bankrolled by the #US taxpayer.
Its time Congress feels the heat!
