Wheelchairs and electric scooters are used due to pain, weakness, balance issues, orthostatic intolerance, etc.

Thank you. I'm afraid of going to conventions and places where I'll need to use it because of that moment when I get out of the chair and people stare at me. I have days where I can walk nearly to the end of my street, and days where I have to weigh the pros and cons of walking to the other side of the kitchen. I don't want to have to explain myself to strangers.
