When I was growing up, I learned about how juries in the South used to acquit white people for killing Black people. (White juries, of course.) But I was taught that this was a thing that happened in "the racist South", and that it had been pretty much eradicated.

So now NYC feels like "the racist South", back in the '60s or earlier. 🤢😠

Jordan Neely should be alive. Failing that, Daniel Penny should be in jail.

The protection of wealthy whiteness is what should be on trial. Brian’s life was no more important than Joran’s. This is important.
