Thoughts from the Closet - I am not a taboo
As an English language teacher who also happens to be bisexual, I’m not currently out at work; yet my understandings of biphobic and monosexist oppression have helped me put words to elements that feel oppressive to me in my experience not only of no…PJF (I am not a taboo)
I’m Peter (he/him), and I work in English Language Teaching (#ELT) as an #editor and #writer focusing on #LGBTQIA and #Queer inclusion.

I am not a taboo is a new initiative, mainly focused on #LGBTQIA+ #ELT professionals and their allies, but LGBTQIA+ representation is important in any aspect of #education.
The website has a #Resources page with classroom materials, reference books and journal articles. There’s also a #blog with a small number of real-life stories - all of this is a work in progress.
It’s run by one person and is still very small and new!
