New to Pixelfed, so thought I’d say hello with a selfie taken just the other day.

I’m Peter (he/him), and I work in English Language Teaching (#ELT) as an #editor and #writer focusing on #LGBTQIA and #Queer inclusion.

#Introduction post as we’ve now moved to a better instance!

I am not a taboo is a new initiative, mainly focused on #LGBTQIA+ #ELT professionals and their allies, but LGBTQIA+ representation is important in any aspect of #education.

The website has a #Resources page with classroom materials, reference books and journal articles. There’s also a #blog with a small number of real-life stories - all of this is a work in progress.

It’s run by one person and is still very small and new!
