I will be cleaning today as we have a friend coming to visit and stay for an overnight.
It will be great to catch up with her.
Apparently we will be having fish and chips for dinner, again, now we know that the chippie will be open this evening.

They are chasing Monty Dog, Harriet's grey and black dog, who has run out of the house as there is another dog outside. Monty and the stray white terrier dog are side by side sniffing each other, and probably making friends.

Pink -Food and garden waste
Brown - Cans, bottles, and food cartons
Black - non recyclable waste

I don't know what's wrong witht he council's food waste bags but they are splitting and falling apart even straight off the roll!
Maybe they wete old stock and have already started self composting!

Roofers are here with a lorry load of reclaimed slates.
I have to get a GPs appointment for Mum, then meet Sue at work, then pick up a prescription for her this afternoon.

With up to 15 bins to sort today, it is going to be one of them days!

Up early to meet today's builders and see what job they are doing today in the wetroom.

Later, a friend will be taking us across to Yorkshire to see, and hopefully buy, a car.

Last day at caretaking work for 2 1/2 weeks now, while the roof is being done.
We'll still go and take the bins out as it is less stressful to do that than to worry about the state of them after three missed collection days.
