For 75+ years #Palestinians have let neighboring countries and their proxies foment war #inTheirName.

So, it is quite remarkable to see them protest #Hamas in a rare show of public anger against the militant group in #Gaza.

Palestinians held signs saying “Stop the war… We refuse to die” and “The blood of our children is not cheap”

“We are sick of the bombing, killing and displacement.”

Hamas is “the only party we can affect. Protests won’t stop Israeli occupation…”

"Contrary to the impression we often get via the world's media, most of the #MiddleEast is not at war. Day-to-day life in places like #Dubai, #SaudiArabia and #Egypt goes on as normal, untouched by the threat of war. Even in countries that have recently experienced conflict in some form, like #Iraq and #Iran, life is largely peaceful for most people."

Not at all surprising how little the #Arab world cares about their #brothers in #Palestine.
