A group of NIH funded researchers wanted to let people know about a project to document 'stop work' notices/defunded grants and canceled study sections. They are creating an archive of these based on user submissions at theresearchwelost.com

Most of the data shared will be publicly available through the site (with some redactions for anonymity). They are just getting started. If you want to contribute, there's a link.
