An hour ago i rang him for a quick update. He's continued to diligently work away each day in the KFedora VM, practising with OnlyOffice, Spectacle [for screenshots then manipulations], & his printer + scanner. He still sounds cautiously pleased & hopeful that this penguin caper could be a goer to replace his dying win10.

I am thus cautiously inclined to prospectively indulge in a wee 🎉 🥳 👯‍♀️

Schade, keine einzige Rückmeldung, dann werde ich #wubuntu einfach selber mal in #virtualbox packen und es kennenlernen.

I find Linux virtualization stack confusing. KVM? ibvirt? QEMU? Xen? What does that even mean? So I wrote a post in an attempt at making sense of that all. Hope it clears things up, and let me know if I missed a mark somewhere.
