Analysis: "Israel is perfecting crimes committed by Britain"

Prior to the Balfour Declaration of a Jewish homeland in Palestine, the indigenous Muslim, Christian & Jewish populations in Palestine had co-existed peacefully.

Balfour did not ask for indigenous views on the matter because, he said, "they would unquestionably give an anti-Jewish verdict".

However, that verdict would have been against colonisation, not against Jews as people.
