‘The Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) is imposing a fine of €10 million on Uber. The fine is in response to the company's failure to disclose the full details of its retention periods for data concerning European drivers, or to name the non-European countries in which it shares this data. By making their #technological solution ever more efficient.... err no!

By cutting costs in their tech teams?.... wrong again

By moving to cheaper office space & re-negotiating their financing?.... nope not that either.

By upping their take on the fares charged by Uber drivers, effectively cutting their pay? yup, that's the one!

Of course, now labour markets are 'tighter' this may backfire... as drivers get other jobs!
