For the last several months we have struggled with my husband's continuing health setbacks.
Today, he had a spring in his step, and strength in his voice.
We are making forward progress again. Some changes in how we care for him seems to be helping.
Summer and I are more relaxed, and enjoying this moment.
She teases him by stealing his recliner. Somehow, she knows he can handle a little fun, so she is bringing it on.
These are the kinds of days we hope for.
