23 January 1943 | A transport of some 2,000 Jews deported from a ghetto in Grodno arrived at #Auschwitz.

After the selection made by SS doctors, 235 men and 191 women were registered in the camp. The remaining group, probably 1,574 people, were murdered in gas chambers.
