thank you for not leaving these people to be forgotten. You are my favorite account on mastodon. The people killed and tortured in Auschwitz during the Nazi regime in my home country had names, lives, faces. With a fascist or near fascist president in the US, it is now more important than ever to remember. I have seen holocaust survivors who came to visit our schools. My children won't have these first hand accounts. We must not forget. #antifascism
