Do any of the #fediverse platforms have the capability of assigning roles?
For instance, I run a soccer team but suck at promoting. However I have people that are better at that task. I’d like to give them roles so they could post as the team, w/o giving them MY login info. They would need their own account & be managers of the team account, I guess.
#facebook has this capability but #Insta doesn’t. I’d rather not use either anyway.

Ultimately, however, you can manage this perfectly with a separate instance.
You would be the admin and the other departments would get their own access and can post via it.
And it doesn't matter which software you use as an instance in fediverse, be it IceShrimp, Sharkey, friendica, etc.
