A KnitPicks order arrived yesterday, so I cast on a couple new projects. A cowl, a washcloth, and a "soap sock".

Knit the soap sock (first two pics) in a single night, which was nice! Even though I made many mistakes and it was really just kind of bodged together. Still, it'll get the job done! It's just going to hang out in my shower, it doesn't have to be perfect. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

The third pic is the washcloth in the same yarn, KP's Dishie 100% cotton in Goldfish. I'm liking how the colours are pooling in a kind of chevron pattern across the cloth! ^^

No pictures of the cowl yet, I might try redoing it… using two gradient-coloured yarns in stripes, but they both start at white, so you can't see any difference in the stripes, yet. x___x I might try unravelling and re-wrapping a ball to get the gradient switched around and knit it that way, just so I can see the differences.

A photo of a finished knitted "soap sock", a knitted "mitt" or pouch meant to hold a bar of soap. The yarn is a bright orange-white mottled colour, and it's got a bubbly knitted texture to it.
The same "soap sock", but from the back, which is simple seed stitch. There's also a small i-cord loop knitted onto it so it can be hung on a hook.
An in-progress knitted washcloth still on the circular needles, in the same orange-white cotton yarn. It's a simple pattern, a bit of a basket-weave done with knits and pearls with a seed stitch border. Only about 2-inches of it is knitted so far.
