It's a puzzlement and seems to be leaning more into the eugenics/cruelty is the point category, but fascists are always trying to stay rich, too, so I wonder. @GottaLaff

I have family members who are religious and who are anti-vaccination, moving into the anti-science area. What’s crazy is my SIL had cancer- and aggressive cancer that of course she attributed to a miracle from God rather than her doctors and modern medicine 🙄@light @mfennvt @GottaLaff

thanks 😢it’s crazy that this is at the highest levels of our government though. When I read The Family years ago I was shocked the religious (and far right doesn’t even describe it) had so thoroughly infiltrated our government. It seems that was just the tip of the iceberg @tdwllms1 @light @GottaLaff

I haven't read The Family, but I started to see how the infiltration was happening back in the Bush years. That's when I first learned of the Dominionists and Opus Dei. That's also where the unitary executive plan first popped up, if I recall correctly. These people have been jonesing for the apocalypse for a long time.
