It's a take on the 12 months of the year. The same way the four horseman are the four seasons.
So is Judas November or April?
I'm afraid that Matthew, Mark, and Luke were all Just Some Guy and not apostles, and the Gospel of John was only retroactively attributed to an apostle
Yeah, but that would ruin the joke!
Thomas sulks away and self publishes a zine.
Poor Mary wasn't even invited to the dinner!
@LeslieBurns Not sure if everyone here realizes the perfect timing of the post.
My very Catholic family loved it.
I'm not a Christian, but I've always thought this was a day that should be more celebrated. It's so human.
It is probably the truest piece of the Passion story—that one friend sold him out for silver. Another denied he knew him (three times) once he was arrested. They all had a nice dinner and scattered when shit got tough.
I was thinking about it from his perspective. It's his last night on earth and he wants to hang out with his friends, even if he knows they aren't going to be as standup as he'd like.
I hear Judas just optioned a screenplay, though.
John had at least one, prolly two ghostwriters, I’m thinking.
Only two of those present actually fulfilled the book deal. I guess the other two subcontracted with Mark and Luke.
