Tried to get some digging and sowing done earlier but it's so windy I just ended up with soil and seeds in my eyes 🤣 🤦‍♀️

o, that sucks that your planting endeavours have been thwarted by the wind. ouch. as someone who lives in a bit of a vortex, i empathise. been extremely fortunate the past few days & have made the most of it. i just hope i've not been too hasty, 'cause i'm sure we'll get a few more frosty mornings before summer.

Yeah, parts of my garden are a wind tunnel. I'll hide under the pergola after lunch and do some pruning instead. Forecast says sun for the whole of the next seven days 🥳
Plenty of time to get the rest of the seeds and shrubs in the ground.

Having lived in places where mid-30Cs sunshine for months at a time was a regular thing, I can confirm that you get a bit tired of it. It'll take a wee while for me to reach that point yet though!
Mostly perennial flower seeds this year, but salad veg, potatoes, tomatoes, spinach, onions, peppers, broccoli and chillies. Plenty of foraging for mushrooms too.
