We rightfully treat Russia as a terrorist State for its widespread spyware campaigns that target politicians, journalists and activists outside of their borders.
It’s still unclear to me why we don’t give the same treatment to #Israel.
The existence of companies like #NSO and #Paragon, whose services can be sold to anyone who pays enough, is a threat to civil society.
And the unaccountability and lack of collaboration of the Israeli government in investigating their crimes, even when companies like Meta provide plenty of evidence about their activities, should be enough to trigger sanctions.
