Israel blocks food, medical supplies, fuel and sufficient water from entering the Gaza strip. Stocks are rapidly running out. #UNRWA , the organization that knows how to distribute food etc. in Gaza, has been decapitated after being labeled as terrorists by Israel.

Is there a way i can filter out this politics stuff? I'm new to this Mastodon thing and am not fully sure of all features yet.

I know bad things are happening in Gaza (&Ukraine), but i can't do anything about that myself and i am tired of seeing this politics/propaganda/appeal to emotion/etc. I want to stop seeing it.

Besides, as with ANY war, it only stops with either death, surrender or a resolution. And that's for THEM to figure out, not us. (Also, what of the Egypt border?)

: I know people for who the news is simply too distressing. Or have a lot of other things to do, for example to make a living.

I too have days that I cannot cope with images of unjust things happening all around the world.

I have bigger problems with people spreading or boosting fake news and plain #hasbara; IMO it is them we have to make change their minds (or block if that's impossible).
